![]() | Russula fastigiata | |
Russula fastigiata is a dark-spored, acrid Russula Ray Fatto described as new because of its very typical pileipellis covered with many tufts of very long hyphal endings. It was only known from the type locality until it was collected among more than 50 other Russula species during the 2004 NAMA foray near Asheville, North Carolina. Photo © Raymond Fatto. |
