Subsection Amoeninae has both annulate and exannulate species in Africa. R. ciliata is an example of a woodland species and has no ring. Its very viscid cap can be yellow, red or green or a mixture of these colours and is covered with fine appressed squamae when dry. Photo © Bart Buyck. |
