Here is the famous Jack-O-Lantern mushroom, a beautiful species growing quite commonly in the Mediterranean regions, especially on olive trees and on different species of oak. The bright orange yellow colour of the fruitbodies is certainly beautiful, but this fungus is especially fascinating once you switch off the lights... in a completely dark room you'll be able to see a greenish glow coming from it. Not to be missed! (m.f.)
