Pileo 5-12 cm. lato, mox depresso, deinde infundibuliformi, margine primum manifeste involuta solumque pruinosa, toto intense colorato, pulchre ex ochraceo flavo, ex ochraceo fulvo vel ex aurantiaco rufo vel e crustulino rufulo, zonato, viscoso vel lubrefacto. Odore grato. Lacte albo, acerrimo. Lamellis stipatis, inaequalibus, decurrentibus factis, angustis, ex cremeis albidis, deinde ex ochraceis cremeis, jampridem detersis ex olivaceis griseis. Stipite 2,5-7 x 1,5-2,5 cm., primum albo, deinde saepe cremeo vel ochraceo facto. Sporis ex ochraceis cremeis, 8,2-10,5 x 7-8,7 µ. (majoribus quam apud zonarium), ± interrupto-reticulatis. Basidiis tetrasporicis. Cystidiis permultis in sinibus interlamellaribus, sed ± immersis, ope sulfoaldehydum nigrescentibus. Cute filamentosa gelata. - In silvis montanis coniferarum vulgarissimus.]
