Original diagnosis

Agaricus, stipite pleno, nudo, gracili; pileo subfuligineo-cinereo; carne albâ, incisurâ rubescente; lamellis curvilineis, stramineo-rutilis: succo lacteo, tarde piperato.

In sylvis, aestate et autumno habitat. Terrestris: solitarius. Formâ dimensionibusque nimium saepe variat. Stipes plenus, nudus, basi ut plurimum plus plinus gracilescens, subalbidus, aut inferâ parte subrutilus: 3-5 lin. juxtà lamellas latus, 8-30 lin. altus.
