Original diagnosis

Pileus (2) 3-4 cm, planus, dein leviter depressus, margine subinvoluta nec striata; cuticula pruinosa vel subvelutina; pilis minutis hyalinis (sub lente) in centro, caerulea vel azurea, marginem versus plus minus lilacina vel carminea sicut in R. turci, interdum pruinae causa argentata. Lamellae subconfertae, albidae, fragiles. Stipes 2-3 x 0,5-0,8 cm, cylindraceus, albus, laevis. Caro fragilior, alba, sulfovanillina sordide rubro-carminea; odor nulla raro vix iodoformica; sapor dulcis vel paulo stypticus. Sporae albidae in cumulo, 8-9 x 6,5-7 µ, breviter ellipsoideae, cristulatae, subreticulatae. Basidia 35-50 x 10-13 µ, tetraspora ; pleurocystidia vulgo fusiformia. Epicutis pilis brevibus obtusis, plus minus tortuosis (x 4-5 µ) cum hyphis primordialibus x 4-5 (6) µ obtusis, nec attenuatis, grosse incrustatis. In pinetis Quercetisque ilicis, sabulosis, prope mare atlanticum lectus, nov. 1973 in herbario meo (Lille) conservatur (nº 73110201).
