Original diagnosis

R. Romellii Maire. — Stipite 6-9 × 1,5-2 cm., albo, e pruinoso glabrescente, rugoso, e farcto cavo. Pileo e convexo-expanso, margine rotundato sæpius striatulo rarius tuberculoso-sulcato, pellicula secernibili, viscosa, versicolore, purpurea, violacea, olivascente, isabellina, albida; carne miti alba vel rarius sub pellicula violascente. Lamellis ex albo stramineis, esporis ochraceis tandem ochroleucis pulverulentis, æqualibus, subremotis. Sporis in cumulo ochraceis, sub lente lutesi, breve ellipsoideis, cristulatis, 7-9 × 6-7 µ. Acie lamellarum homomorpha, mediostrato vesiculoso, subhymenio ramoso. Cystidiis sæpius appendiculatis, 60-90 × 10-11 µ. Pilei pellicula cystidiis raris gracilibus prædita, stipitis pellicula cystidiis numerosis conspersa. G +. Cystidiis juvenilibus FS brunnescentibus et SV cærulescentibus.
