Original diagnosis

Pileus 30 mm diam, convexo-planus, conchatus vel auriculaeformis, fuscus vel niger, tomentoso-velutinus, siccus. Lamellae densae, adnato-adnexae, albidulae dein cremeae, tactu nigrescentes. Stipes 20–50 x 2–3 mm, cylindricus, eccentricus vel lateralis, curvatus, obscure griseo-brunneo, tomentosus. Odor saporque nulli. Caro alba. Latex aquosus. Sporae albae in cumulo.
Sporae 7.3–7.98–9.0(9.4) x 6.7–7.20–8.1(8.4) µm (Q = 1.07–1.11–1.14), subglobosae vel ellipsoideae, verrucis obtusis interconnectis obtectae. Basidia 32–39 x 9–10 µm, 4-sporigera. Cystidia subcylindrica vel subfusiformia apice moniliformi vel subcapitato instructa. Pileipellis e cellulis catenulatis pallisadam formantibus. Pileocystidia numerosa. Fibulae nullae.
