Original diagnosis

Pileo cremeo vel subcitrino, ambitu mox pallide rufidulo, postremum toto expallente: avellaneo; convexo, dein centro depresso, 4-10 cm., lato, acystidiato, crinibus carente, viscido, glabro, cuticula partim secernibili, margine obtusa, dein striato-tuberculosa. — Lamellis albidis dein cremeis vel ochroleucis; confertis, saepe nonnullis brevioribus vel furcatis intermixtis adnexis, mediocriter largis. Sporis in cumulo dilute ochraceis, s. m. 8-10,5 × 7-9 µ echinulatis, haud vel vix reticulatis. Cystidiis sparsis. — Stipite albo, postremum nonnihil pallide cinerascente, 30-60 × 7-19 mm. — Carne alba, miti, inodora. — In Betuletis Pyrenaicis. Julio mense copiose gregatimque obvia species, affinis R. Font Queri, gilvae, flavicipiti.
