Original diagnosis

Medius vel major. Pileo laxe carnoso, usque 11 cm lato, convexo-plano dein late depresso, denique infundibuliformi, disco glabro, udo viscidulo; primitus subnudo dein fibrillis v. squamis adpressis ornato, azono, e pallide ocraceo fulvescente, squamis rufescentibus; margine primo involuto dein explanato, lanoso-barbato. Stipite 6 cm alto, ad medium 15 mm crasso, sursum dilatato, deorsum leniter inflato e tomentoso glabro, subnitente, ocraceo flavo, corticato, farcto, tarde cavo. Lamellis inaequilatibus, angustis, subadnatis. Basidiis cylindraceo-clavatis, 4-sporis, 35-42 x 10 µ Cystidis longe et anguste fusiformibus, 110-130 x 11-12 µ, non vel apice transversaliter septatis. Sporis subglobosis, 8-8,5 x 7 µ (sine reticulo), reticulo crasso, imperfecto, iodo coerulescente ornatis. Lac album, aëre immutabile, urens. Caro albida vel pallidissime ocracea vel flavida; odore grato fructuum, vel subnauseosa, penetrante. Hab. - In querceto-faginae, locis humosis sylvarum Atlantis-Medii, circa Azrou (Mauretaniae), meuse octobri 1937 copiose legimus.
