Original diagnosis

Pileus 6-10(-13) cm diam., planoconvexus, subvelutinus, pallide flavus ad aurantiofulvus. Lamellae distantes vel subdistantes, albae vel cremeae. Stipes 3-7 × 1-3 cm, subvelutinus vel subglaber, albidus vel cremeus, brunnescens. Latex copiosus, albus, mitis vel leviter acris. Pleuromacrocystidia abundantia vel rara, subclavata vel subpyriformia, tenuitunicata. Basidia tetraspora, clavata. Sporae (6.0-)6.5-8.0(-9.0) × (5.0-)5.5-7.0(-7.5) µm [Q = (1.06-)1.11-1.26(-1.28), Q = 1.18 ± 0.04], ellipsoideae, verrucosoreticulatae, albae in cumulo. Pileipellis bistrata, suprapellis ex hyphis cylindricis, 40-50 × 4.0-5.0 µm, versus apicem attenuatis, subpellis pseudoparenchymata.
