Benjamin Woo

Benjamin Woo (1923-2008), founding member of the Puget Sound Mycological Society and long-time member of the Pacific North West Key Council, passed away on 8th February 2008. Also a well known Russula expert, Ben provided a temptative Russula key to the species of the Pacific Northwest, which is online on the internet and can be downloaded as a word file
[Trial field key to the species of Russula in the Pacific Northwest. A macroscopic field key to selected common species reported from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Prepared for the Pacific Northwest Key Council by Benjamin Woo (Puget Sound Mycological Society), May 1989].

He was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who were privileged to meet him.
